Nutrition Philosophy
Chan Britton, M.P.A., M.S., (CNS-Supervised Candidate)
Hi, I’m Chan and I believe nourishment is more than the food on our plate—it is the way we care for our whole being. True health emerges when the mind, body, and spirit are in balance, not conflict. Food has the power to heal, to energize, and to reconnect us with our innate wisdom when it is approached with intention and compassion.
My nutrition philosophy is grounded in evidence-based practice while recognizing the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit in overall health. I view nourishment as a therapeutic tool that supports physiological function, cognitive health, and emotional well-being. I work to optimize individualized nutrition strategies that promote balance, sustainability, and long-term outcomes.
My approach honors mindful eating as a practice of presence—listening to hunger and fullness cues, releasing judgment, and cultivating a respectful relationship with food. Rather than focusing on restriction, I guide individuals to optimize their well-being by choosing foods that support physical vitality, emotional balance, and spiritual alignment.
I believe that healing happens when nourishment is personalized, sustainable, and rooted in self-trust. By integrating science with intuition, and structure with flexibility, I support a path toward vibrant health that feels grounded, empowering, and deeply nourishing—inside and out.
