There really isn’t much of a difference between a clinical nutritionist and a dietician. Both have to have extensive training and education and must receive 1,000+ clinical hours in order to be certified and licensed.
Note - the term “nutritionist” isn’t really regulated, so anyone can call themselves a nutritionist in most states (social media influencers, trainers in gyms, etc).
What makes me different is that I am a clinical nutritionist, meaning I have the requisite expertise through advanced education to provide medical nutritional therapy to patients — and this requires certification and licensure in most states. I am working with a Supervisor to obtain my clinical hours in order to be licensed and certified in some states.
